Alliance Personnel Agency - Arlington, TX is currently working with a client in their search to fill a 5am- 2pm, Cartmanager Assembly position in Arlington, TX. The pay rate is $19.00 to $21.00 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.
Job Description:
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
- Use handheld tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters and drills
- Perform soldering in a subassembly operation maintain inventory of product in workstations.
- Perform quality work checks to assure the product meets established standards identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Rework and/or repair according to engineering specification changes
- Contributes to team effort completing assigned tasks and seeking out new tasks to advance the team's goals
- Communicates effectively with other and can function and get along in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Responsibilities:
- Part preparation: Receiving, storing, and organizing all necessary components and parts for CartManager assembly.
- Blueprint reading: Understanding assembly diagrams and technical specifications to correctly position and attach parts.
- Mechanical assembly: Using hand tools and power tools to assemble the CartManager frame, wheels, motor components, and other mechanical parts.
- Electrical wiring: Connecting electrical components according to wiring diagrams, ensuring proper power supply and functionality.
- Quality control: Performing thorough inspections throughout the assembly process to identify any defects, misalignments, or incorrect installations.
- Testing and calibration: Testing the assembled CartManager unit to verify operational performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Documentation: Completing assembly paperwork, including recording serial numbers, part numbers, and quality check results.
- Inventory management: Maintaining accurate inventory levels of assembly components and notifying supervisors when parts need to be restocked.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving minor assembly issues or discrepancies.
- Safety compliance: Adhering to all safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment while assembling CartManager
Education: High School
- Hs Diploma or GED
Experience: 2 months
- 2-4 years of Mechanical assembly experience
Physical:
- Able to work in lean, production environment completing tasks on time
- See, speak, walk, hear, stand, sit, use of hand/fingers to handle or feel; climb stairs/ladders, stoop, pull, carry, lift up to 60lbs
- Use of small hand/power tools and pallet jack
- Drive and operate a forklift
Skills:
- Basic reading skills
- Must be able to follow directions
- Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
- Ability to perform work acurately and thoroughly
- High attention to detail and self motivation skills
- Ability to communicate with, and work effectively through other people at all levels of the company
- Highly organized, detailed oriented, and great follow up and follow through skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively without continuous supervision
- Maintains good attendance and reports to work on time so as not to impact production schedule
